As you know in Portugal we have no Vietnamese embassy. Me and my husband are going on a cruise ship from princess cruises that arrives at Ho Chi Minh at 6am and departures at 6pm at lhe same day. We arrive and departure by sea.I think we need a visa, but we don’t know if there is some special regime to cruise ship’s passengers when arriving. Can you tell me what we must do?

In this case, you are recommended to contact your cruise line first to know if they can arrange a visa for you or not since we cannot assist you to get a visa on arrival to Vietnam which is applicable to those who travel to Vietnam by air only.
If not, please contact the nearest Vietnam Embassy to get a visa to Vietnam. In this case, you should ask them whether they receive the visa application via post. It will be easier for you than to go in person.
