The mymodernmet.com has recently released a list of eight most beautiful water landscapes in the world which inspire the travelers by not only making them want to travel but also making them want to live a better, more meaningful and fulfilling life. And it is an honor for Vietnam to have its Halong Bay voted as one of such places.

According to the website, Halong Bay which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, is a must-visit travel destination in the northern province of Quang Ninh. The breathtaking bay is filled with a dense cluster of over 1,600 limestone monolithic islands, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, which gently rise out of the ocean. Among these islands you can find hidden lagoons, beautiful beaches, countless caves and unique grottoes of all shapes and sizes, places just waiting to be explored. It’s easy to see why this seascape sculpted by nature is often included on lists of natural wonders of the world.

Previously, sailing Halong Bay was also voted as one of the adventures which can actually change your life by the Huffingtonpost – a US-based newspaper.

Other names in the list of the world’s eight most beautiful water landscapes are Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, Abraham Lake in Alberta, Canada, Lake Hillier- the Pink Lake in Australia, Lake Baikal in Russia, Wuhua Hai – Five-Flower Lake in China, Caño Cristales – River of Five Colors in Colombia, and Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina.

If you have a time, let yourself experience and tell us how you feel.
