It is good news for those who travel in Vietnam by train that from December 1st, 2014, the Vietnam National Railway Corporation will officially sell online tickets on its websites at www.dsvn.vn, www.vietnamrailway.vn, www.vetau.com.vn from December 1st, 2014.
Thanks to this new system, passengers will have chance to buy tickets at anywhere and anytime, over the Internet, selecting routes, coaches and seats suitable to their demand.
Passengers can make payment for the train tickets by different methods such as payment at stations, through the Internet, domestic credit cards or at post-offices of the Vietnam Post Corporation (VnPost). For passengers at Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces, the payment can also be made at branches of the Vietnam International Bank (VIB).
Each passenger can book less than 4 tickets for one-way trains. The online ticket system allows passengers to reserve seats 24 hours before the trains departure time depending on availability.
