I’m not sure about my exact arrival date yet. How can I put in the arrival date in my Vietnam visa application form. Once I receive my letter of approval how long do I have before it must be used? Also, once I enter Vietnam, do I have 30 days from the date of entry or 30 days from when the approval letter was issued?

Be kindly informed that in case you are not sure about your exact arrival date, you can fill in the visa application form with a planned date. But please remember that you can arrive in Vietnam later than the arrival date you apply for but earlier arrival is not allowed. So, please consider carefully before submitting your application to us.
If you apply for a one-month visa, your visa will be valid within 1 month from the arrival date issued in your visa approval letter, not the date when the approval letter is issued.
Regarding the time limit for using the visa approval letter, we would like to say that you can apply for the visa approval letter whenever you want, but you only need use it for your first arrival at the Vietnam airport to get visa stamped onto your passport. The visa approval letter can be used in between the arrival date and exit date issued in the letter.
