Hanoi has just been listed on the top of ten least expensive destinations city in the world for 2014. The result is released by Tripadvisor, the world’s largest tourism website.
The ranking is based a study over 48 popular destinations in the world which looks at the average price for an evening on the town and an overnight stay for two people, including cocktails at a five-star hotel, dinner in a downtown restaurant, taxi fare and a night in a four-star hotel room during the summer season.
If Hanoi was in the second place in the list of top ten least expensive destinations in 2013, it occupied the first place of this year list with an average costs of UD$152.89 per night.
Other destinations named in the list are Jakarta (Indonesia), Sharm el Sheikh (Egypt), Bangkok (Thailand), Sogia (Bulgaria), Cape Town (South Africa), Mumbai (India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Prague (Czech Republoc) and Budapest (Hungary).
