The central city of Danang has just officially launched the second free tourism information center at the national arrival station of the Danang International Airport. Total investment in the center was VND200 million (US$9,500).
Deputy director of the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Chi Cuong, said that in July the city would open two new flights from Da Nang to Japan and to Hong Kong so that the volume of foreign visitors would increase.
With the new tourism information centre, visitors can receive a free map, brochures and information on hotels and tour operators. The first centre was opened at the domestic arrival station at the beginning of last year.
