I am flying from Australia to UK, changing planes in HCM then Hanoi. Do I need a visa? Wasn’t sure as the HCM to Hanoi is obviously domestic although I won’t leave the airport.

Since we do not know your nationality, we cannot provide you with the best advice. In case you are Australian passport holders or citizens of countries getting Vietnam visa exemption, you do not need a Vietnam visa for your transit flights. Otherwise you will need one since you need to leave the international terminal and get to domestic one to get a domestic flight from HCMC to Hanoi.
